Upcoming Events at the Library. Children's Programs. After-School Program. Description: This December, the library will host a fun program for studentsin grades 3-8. Pre-registration is required. When: Monday, December 4th at 4:30 p.m. Preschool Storytime. Description: For children ages 2-5. December's theme is Christmas. Pre-registration is required. When: Tuesday, December 5 at 11:00 a.m. Gingerbread Houses. Description: This program is for ages 3 and up. We will have two sessions for gingerbread house building. Each participant will need to bring an unopened bag of candy to share with the group. Pre-registration is required. You must register your child by 5:00 p.m. on December 8th. You may register for only one session. When: Saturday, December 9th at 10:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. Christopher the Christmas Tree. Description: Come join us at the Salem Public Library for a showing of Christopher the Christmas Tree. This is a free event for the community, butseating is limited. Call the library to reserve your place. When: Tuesday, December 5th at 5:30 p.m. You may register for programs by visiting us or by calling the library at 812-883-5600.
