After-School Programs. Description: This Fall the Salem Public Library will host fun and creative programming for students in grades 1-7. Pre-registration is required. When: October dates are on the 3rd, 17th, and 24th at 4:30 pm. Pre-school Storytime. Description: For children ages 2-5. October's theme is Halloween. When: Tuesday, October 18 at 10:30 am Pre-registration is required. You may register for programs by visiting us or by calling the library at 812-883-5600. Scary Story Contest Description: Open to all Washington County students in grades 2-12. Entry must be your own work. See flyer for details. When: Entries must be received by October 21st and must include a completed entry form to be considered for judging. Tiny Art Show Description: Open to ages 12 and older. Upon registration you will receive a mini art kit. Your artwork will be on display at the library during the month of December 2022. When: Registration begins October 17th. Have your art turned in by November 30th to be included in the show.
