Indiana University School of Social Work students will host telehealth appointments under the supervision of licensed social workers.   • After-School Programs. Description: This Fall the Salem Public Library will host fun and creative programming for students in grades 1-7. Pre-registration is required. When: October dates are on the 3rd, 17th, and 24th at 4:30 pm. Pre-school Storytime. Description: For children ages 2-5. October's theme is Halloween. When: Tuesday, October 18 at 10:30 am Pre-registration is required. You may register for programs by visiting us or by calling the library at 812-883-5600. Scary Story Contest Description: Open to all Washington County students in grades 2-12. Entry must be your own work. See flyer for details. When: Entries must be received by October 21st and must include a completed entry form to be considered for judging. Tiny Art Show Description: Open to ages 12 and older. Upon registration you will receive a mini art kit. Your artwork will be on display at the library during the month of December 2022. When: Registration begins October 17th. Have your art turned in by November 30th to be included in the show.

    The Salem Public Library has WiFi service available in our parking lot area. The WiFi is available Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
